How sure you are about the eligibility of the Nominee?

If your application to our Awards Committee is approved, how possible is someone to object to your application? Your nomination will remain for 30 days on our Nominees' Page, and we will explore the ground of each objection. Anonymous objections will be rejected, but the Nominee will NOT know the whistleblower, and Security Academy Awards will NOT explain the reason for rejection to the Nominee.
Also, the name of the Nominee will be removed from the list after the decision of the Committee. Also, you do know that in the list of the Awardees, are the names of those who requested to be projected there and hold a valid membership. In this way, only few names are projected to the Awardees' list. The names of our active members.

How many years of career/operations/service/other the Nominee is counting?

To determine how many years of career, operations, service, or other experience the nominee has, you would typically need to consider the following steps:

  1. Starting Point of Career or Service: Identify the year when the nominee began their professional career or specific service.

  2. Current Year: Use the current year to calculate the total duration.

  3. Continuous or Discontinuous Service: Determine if the nominee's career has been continuous or if there have been any significant breaks or gaps that should be considered.

  4. Specific Experience: Specify the type of experience you're counting, whether it's total career experience, time in a particular role, or service in a specific organization.

Once these details are known, you can calculate the total years of experience by subtracting the starting year from the current year and adjusting for any breaks in service if necessary.

For example, if the nominee started their career in 2000 and it's currently 2024, they would have 24 years of experience.
But if started in example in 2023 and it is 2024, is better to apply next year, except if the Nominee can prove their excellence.

Did the Nominee until the application date had any problems with the law?

As you understand, we aren't able to provide Awards to accused persons/organizations, with pending charges and penalties of imprisonment, or other serious penalties. The Nominee declares officially that there are no criminal charges in their name.

Do the Nominee wishes their name to remain in our online database?

If the answer is yes, then the Nominee orders the Security Academy Awards (ISO-SEC), to keep the personal data of the Nominee and undertakes SOLELY the responsibility, if these data in the future are stolen, for any reason. If the answer is no, then after the ceremony of your nomination, all your data will move to an offline database, for credibility issues and will remain there for 12 months, which is the period of the Awards validation.
